What guitar should I get?

Lucky me, I will be getting $ 4,000 dollars to spend (Australia) and decided to buy me a new guitar and I'm playing on $ 80 cheapo junk guitar … I'm a big fan of Jimi Hendrix, have been for 11 years of age, and really want their sound, the guitar played at Woodstock sounded beautiful high-pitched sound I love that fat, and the way he sings stratocaster. I was thinking of getting a standard 2006 or While American launch, or a anivesery 60th, although I have not heard the aniversy 60, but I heard very good comments. As this is like going to live in a garbage can to live in an attic, I would like some opinions on what pickups / guitar / strap or anything to have that pleasant sound hendrix blues! Oh and if anyone can tell me your facility?

Jimi, eh? 1. fender start … 3 single coil pickups are used by jimi! (The reprint s "70" are nice and nostalgic … good tone also … and easy adjustment of the soul, great '60 's style head. play a 60th anniversary to hear it, man!) – notes! Maple fingerboards has a nice bright but warm tone gloss to them … rosewood fingerboard give you a bit dark smooth warm tone … MUST CHOOSE THE GUITAR THAT FEELING SOUND comfortable for you! 2. go with a Marshall combo amp – 50-100 watts should be fine! have good distortion 3. effects pedals – a 'Dunlop Uni-Vibe, "" crybaby original wah-wah ', and' dallas arbiter fuzz "(it is a red disc looking thing!) so here it is: 1 -" 70 "Startup Type fender-s (BIG '60 's / '70' s head, 3 single-coil pickups!) 2 – Marshall combo amp (50-100 watts) 3 – Univibe Dunlop wah original crybaby, dallas arbiter fuzz … that right should not cost you a quote! but look on the musical instrument discount sites and save a few dollars, man! hope you find your dream team! peace!

Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickup Problem?

I just installed Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups in my Stratocaster. I replaced the tone and volume pots and put in the capacitor in just as the blueprints said. My middle and neck pickups sound nice, bright, and loud whereas my bridge pickup sounds very faint and has very little sustain compared to the others, it’s as if I had the volume turned down on my guitar’s settings, that’s the best that I can describe it. I even tried turning the volume down in order to see if it might turn up but it stayed a basically the same volume. Please help!

Hello! It sounds like your bridge pickup is not electrically coupled to the volume potentiometer. Check to make sure your solder joints for the pickup leads have flowed properly, and are correctly positioned on the five-way selector switch. Before you screw down the pickguard assembly, plug into your amplifier and lightly tap the pickup poles as you rotate the pots, just to make sure everything is working before final assembly and string installation. Let me know if I can help further. Best regards, Dana
