For years I wanted to buy a guitar, now I have the monetary means to do so. I am a great lover of all kinds music, everything from psychedelic rock to shoegaze electronica. My ideal would be a Jazzmaster guitar or jaguar, but they are way out of my budget and not very appropriate for my first guitar. I know that I like Stratocaster, they sound too bright and I do not like how they look. I probabley can go slightly above the guitar package Start if I try, but nothing crazy too. Any suggestion to the masses?
check these out all kinds http://store.guitarfetish.com/xvseofgu.html Pickup and finishes, never bought a guitar from them, but the necks and other parts I have are very good quality. I need help making some good overdrive, clean, classic rock, and carcass weight in the pod xt live.?
I've been playing for 5 years I have a Fender Stratocaster and a Marshall amplifier mg250dfx. along with the line 6 pod xt live. Im trying to make a channel that would be good for classic rock, like Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc., a channel for more modern rock songs as a tool for band, etc, and only some good overdrive and clean channels. Also I wonder, when you play as 2 or 3 channels at once in a distortian channel, how do you get an open string you use to not vibrate so much that make the sound smooth and clean?
If you are trying to avoid open strings, either no hit 'em with your selection – works just hitting you want to – or are in the "pick" way when you're getting the rest of the notes of the chords, you learn to creatively mute the strings with the fingers of his left hand. For example, if I'm doing a chord with the fifth, fourth string, third and did not want to hear the low E at all, usually try to make sure that somewhere in one of my fingers of the left is at least playing bass E to prevent vibration – if I'm too "in the moment" and I can not control my hand to strike her pick. – Chip
Im in a band and need a guitar that can friggin doubt the crusher. Now I have a guitar, but it is a very basic Les Paul, a special ii, and I'm looking for something to upgrade. Im gonna be taking classes soon and I need a guitar that I can use as my primary for a long time I am at full throttle burst. I can play alt rock and punk and I have to choose between (the Fender Start Mexican standard) or an Epiphone Les Paul. What fits in Perfection? (Do not try to respond by saying two out please, I'm ordering online guitar)
If you play punk rock, go for the start, since it is a coz nasal sound more than 3 single-coil pickups is that the deep Les Paul. and use a distortion pedal, I recommend the Boss DS-1, gets me through most Arctic Monkeys and the Libertines songs on my fender tele.
