A Seymour Duncan SH-11 work fine with a hot and fresh Tren Tren a Stratocaster HSS?
I play rock / metal, a combination that sounds good for this?
Not a terrible mix – the SH-11 has an alnico magnet which will sound very different to the hot / cold rails (which are both pickups ceramic magnet). The main thing I want to do is balance out, so not dramatically different production levels when switching between them. The guitar in question have a lot to do with it – all these pills will emphasize different parts of the range of EQ and will be more suitable for specific guitars (it say, some are naturally more brilliant sound than others).
